Cold Comfort Farm

This book was billed as a comedy. I guess there were some places that were humorous, but mostly it was just a light-hearted story of a woman who despises messes - of any kind. On Cold Comfort Farm she finds more than usual. The movie was a BBC production, and it felt more like a made-for-TV show to me.
