The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

I think it took me longer to watch this movie than it did to read the book! The child actors did a great job. I especially liked Peter. Susan was a little annoying, but I think maybe she was meant that way in the book. Lucy was adorable. Edmund made a convincing turnaround. The effects were good, and Aslan was very lovable. I was watching with Cameron, and I would have preferred a little less death and blood in the battle scene, but for the most part I agreed with the PG rating. The movie followed the book for the most part. There were some added scenes, including a storyline as they were escaping from the battle field which I do not believe was in the book at all. There was no mention that the professor was the boy from the Magician's Nephew, but that seemed okay since C.S. Lewis didn't know that himself when he wrote this one. :)
