The Accidental Tourist

I've read a few of Anne Tyler's books now. They are all a little odd, but somehow they work. But to try to bring her quirkiness to the screen... it's just too difficult, IMO. Although William Hurt and Geena Davis do their best to portray to off-beat characters, it just doesn't ring true.
